FCC to Host DAS and Small Cell Workshop
Posted on January 27, 2012The FCC’s Wireless Telecommunications Bureau will soon host a workshop on distributed antenna systems (DAS) and small cell solutions that augment mobile broadband and wireless services. WTB will discuss how DAS and small cell systems benefit communities by expanding mobile broadband, wireless data coverage, and aiding first responders inside buildings. The workshop, which will be held on Wednesday, February 1, 2012 from 9:30 to 4:30 at FCC Headquarters in Washington, DC, is open to the public and will be webcast on the FCC’s website.
